RANCANG BANGUN PENANGKAL PETIR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN TANAH BASAH DAN TANAH KERING PADA LABORATORIUM TEKNIK KONVERSI ENERGI

Abstract

Lightning rods in the Laboratory of Energy Distribution System & Protection Polytechnic of Ujung PandangState have not function properly so resistance value tends to be big, this is not good for earth. This problem can besolved by rebuilding lightning rods on wet and dry soil. This activity is done to minimize resistance resistance value inthis regard, this activity is done by designing, assembling and collecting data is done by testing, while data analysis isdone by counting. Based on the results of the discussion concluded that the resistance value obtained is smaller than theprevious tool. It is proved by the test result that the resistance value on the rod electrode in dry conditions is around 1.56- 2.40 Ohm while the previous tool ranges from 1.6 to 9.0 Ohm. Then for the wet soil conditions ranging from 0.45 to1.29 Ohm while the previous tool is ranging from 1.8 to 5.25 Ohm.
