DESAIN STRUKTUR UTAMA CLEAR SPAN BAJA DENGAN VARIASI BENTANG DAN TINGGI KOLOM STRUKTUR
Abstract
This study aims to analyze and design the clear span steel structure with variations of structural span andcolumn height also to provide information on the weight increase of the structure in accordance with the increase ofstructural span and column height, where the weight of the structure is closely related to the construction cost. Thestructure is designed with four variations of column height that is 4m, 5m, 6m and 7m where each column height isvaried by 5 spans of structure is 15m, 20m, 25m, 30m and 35m. The design results show that the column and rafter crosssections vary and increased according to changes in the structure span and column height. Magnification of structuralspans and height of columns result in greater structure weight so that the required cost will increase also in accordancewith the percentage of weight gain of the structure.References
