Abstract

Bandwidth management is important because it serves to regulate the allocation of bandwidth to users and applications
running on the network. Each user has different bandwidth requirements, therefore it is necessary to determine priorities.
In addition, it is also important to set priorities to different types of data streams based on how important that data
stream. This can allows the use of bandwidth to be more efficient. Bandwidth management will be maximum when the
usage characteristics are known. To determine the characteristics of bandwidth usage can be done by applying
classification techniques. In this study, we proposed a classification 192 bandwidth data using Naïve Bayes method. The
results showed that naive bayes method was successfully used for classification and gave 73,68% accuracy when split
ratio was 0,8%.
