Abstract
The release of lightning load can damage the electrical network and equipment in a short time, the effort can bedone is to protect and minimize the effect of lightning. One of them is to protect the electrical system and LightningProtection correctly and in accordance with the rules of the general requirements of electrical installations issued by theauthorized body (PUIL) and refer to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The results of the research wiil be in theform of the installation of electrical system protection model and protection from lightning rod by means grounding areused to protect the electrical department building , laboratory equipment, workshop, electronic devices from beingstruck by lightening strike both directly and indirectly. This model can also be used as reference in other places. But thelong term purpose of this research is for protection control system of integrated and continuous form of electric powersystem.References
