UPAYA PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA MELALUI PEMANFAATAN BAHAN DAUR ULANG LIMBAH DI DESA MANIMBAHOI KABUPATEN GOWA

Abstract

The family has an important role in terms of improving social welfare. Family welfare is influenced bysocioeconomic factors, the number of family members, family income, and position in the community. Every familymember has a different role. One of the interesting things to be studied is the potential of housewives in the family.Potential homemakers when not only acting as housewives at home but working to help improve family welfare. Thepotential of a housewife is enormous, through its essential role in empowering the family. The independence of womencan encourage family participation in improving the community's economy, through increased knowledge, skills and highmotivation to move forward. One form of growing knowledge and skills is to hold training. The type of training incommunity service is training by utilising household waste that can be recycled into materials that have artistic andeconomic value. One of the basic residues is the use of used cloth and used plastic bags. The participants in this trainingnumbered 25 people who were delegates from 5 hamlets within the Manimbahoi Village area. From the results of theevaluation, on average, 85.6% of participants expressed very satisfied with this training.
