Abstract

Most rice mills and farmers dry their rice by drying or unshelled them directly under the sun, therefore, thedrying process will be ineffective if the weather is cloudy in the same time as the harvest season. Therefore this PKM(Community Partnership Program) aims to overcome the problems of partnership through the utilization of rice huskwaste. The method of implementation in this activity is divided into two stages, namely: The first stage, Design andManufacture of Grain Dryers that use husk waste fuels with a rotary dryer system. The second stage is to provide trainingin the use of these tools. The result of this program is the improvement of rice mill owners, farmers and workers skills.The utilization of husk waste as a source of fuel. It reduces the problems of rice mill and farmers drying grain in the rainyseason.
