PELATIHAN SERVIS UNTUK ANAK PUTUS SEKOLAH DAN PEMBONGKARAN MESIN TRAKTOR KELOMPOK TANI DI DUSUN LAWO KELURAHAN OMPO, SOPPENG, SULAWESI SELATAN

Abstract

The problem faced by Gellengnge Farmer Group partners from Ompo, Lalabata, Soppeng Regency, South
Sulawesi, is that their tractor engine has never been overhauled, so the engine does not standard even though it has been
repaired. The partners have weaknesses such as limited time and inability to receive overhaul lessons. On one hand there
are groups of youth who have dropped out of school potentially to be trained. Based on the problem, the purpose of
community service were trained youth to increase their knowledge and skills in terms of tractor engine and soft skills in
the form of entrepreneurship training. The implementation methods carried out in this activity are providing: (1) engine
overhaul and entrepreneurship training at Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang and (2) overhaul engine tractor for farmer in
Soppeng. The results of events are increased knowledge and skills of youth and the creation of business opportunities to
open tractor services.
