Abstract

Research conducted toward the employees of PT PLN (Persero) AP2B Systems South Sulawesi aims to explain the influence of the incentive variable on the performance variable and work motivation as a mediation or intervening variable. It is expected that the system of incentives should be more focused and appropriate to the needs of employees in order to increasing the work motivation and companies can obtain high performance from employees. The research method which is used explanatory method, it’s using the questionnaire as a data collection tool distributed to all employees, with total 64 people in the From the obtained  result, it can be seen that in fact the incentives provided by the company with the hope to increase the motivation and performance of employees do not result significant effect. It indicates that there are other factors that need to be studied and applied by the company in order to improve employee motivation and performance.
