Copyright and Licensing

Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication in the Journal of Applied Civil Engineering and Environment (JACEE), the authors agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Transfer
  • Assignment of Rights: Authors are required to transfer copyright of their published articles to JACEE. This transfer enables the journal to publish, distribute, and archive the work in both print and electronic formats. The copyright transfer agreement must be signed by the corresponding author on behalf of all co-authors.
  • Author Rights: Despite the transfer of copyright, authors retain the following rights:
    • Self-Archiving: Authors may deposit the final published version (PDF) of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other non-commercial platforms, provided that full citation details and a link to the original publication in JACEE are included.
    • Reuse in Teaching and Research: Authors are permitted to use their published work in lectures, presentations, or for teaching purposes, as well as for further research, provided that proper attribution is given to JACEE.
  1. Licensing
  • Creative Commons License: All articles published in JACEE are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows others to copy, distribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given to the original author(s) and the source is cited. Commercial use of the work is not permitted without explicit permission from JACEE.
  1. Permissions
  • Reproduction and Distribution: Third parties wishing to reuse, reproduce, or distribute articles published in JACEE for commercial purposes must obtain written permission from the journal. Requests for permission should be directed to the editorial office at editorial@jacee.poliupg.ac.id.
  • Attribution Requirements: When reproducing or citing the work, third parties must provide full attribution to the original publication in JACEE, including the names of the authors, the title of the article, the journal name, volume, issue number, page numbers, and DOI (if available).
  1. Disclaimer
  • Author Responsibility: The authors retain responsibility for the content of their work, including any inaccuracies or legal issues related to copyright infringement, libel, or data privacy. JACEE and its editors shall not be held liable for any such issues arising from the publication of an article.
  • Changes to Terms: JACEE reserves the right to modify these copyright terms at any time. Authors will be notified of any changes prior to their implementation.
